Who We Are

Our mission is to revolutionize maritime training and enhance safety by providing hands-on, experiential training anywhere anytime.

Toby Frausto, President of Industrial Maritime Academy (IMA), brings over 15 years of expertise in barge operations and tankering management.

During his career, Toby recognized that traditional training methods fell short in preparing mariners for real-world scenarios. The high costs, risks, and logistics associated with accessing real assets, along with the limitations of classroom presentations, hindered effective training.

Toby's passion for innovative solutions, combined with his subject matter expertise in the maritime industry, led to his founding of IMA, with Diamond Age Technology, a leader in virtual reality training and spatial computing.

With virtual reality training, IMA provides a no-risk, interactive environment where trainees can explore assets in depth, learn crucial skills, and build muscle memory.
